China launches $4bn scheme to pipe gas from Ethiopia

A huge gas project comprising a 700km pipeline from Ethiopia to Djibouti, a liquefaction plant and an export terminal in Djibouti has been officially launched.

The $4bn project, funded by Chinese firm POLY-GCL Petroleum Group is expected to start shortly and be finished in three years, reports Fortune Addis.

 Ethiopian Airlines landed in LA last Saturday June 20,2015. Happy fathers day Ethiopian Airlines. You are the father of all African Airlines. It is a monumental achievement for an African Airline to land on the West coast.

It also shows the commitment that employees at the airline have for Ethiopian Airlines. We also need to mention TWA that gave a helping hand to Ethiopian back in 1946. DC 3 and DC 6 surplus US army planes were donated to Ethiopian to get it started.
